Well here goes. I am starting this to try and keep track of a trip that I am taking to Chile. This is a culinary based trip with a group of chefs, some that I know and some that I have never met. It is a place that I would have never thought of traveling to but the more I check it out the more interesting it seems to be. As of now we are scheduled to visit some of the wineries, a salmon farm, a blueberry farm that is in an old volcano and have a few arranged dinners. Photography is also one of my hobbies and this place seems to be a perfect spot to do that. Volcanos, the Andes Mountains and a whole lot in between. Should be an exciting trip, so I will try and keep up with this blog and see where that takes me. Stay tuned for more I guess. If anyone reads this and has been to Chile feel free to share some tips or must see places.

It seems that no matter where I go food & wine are always a central point to the trip so I think that keeping track of dishes, wines, restaurants and all of the people along the way will be kind of fun. If nothing else it will be a great way for me to remember that one great meal or some cool way of presenting a dish that I would not have thought of. If you love food, wine and travel I am sure that you will find some interesting posts here from time to time. So I look forward to keeping up to date and also hearing from others that share similar passions for all things culinary.
